"SCAMMERS!!! BEWARE! Last year we wanted to buy a property in Valencia and we made an offer through re/max that got accepted and paid the 2000 euro reservation fee. Turned out there was a problem with the inheritance and they weren't the full owners yet and also there was a problem with the division in the land registry. Our lawyer said this could take months. We really loved the house and couldn't really afford to find something else so we told RE/MAX to please present a lower offer to the sellers, because of the circumstances. They took the property of the market and never returned our money!!!! We tried getting our money back through our lawyer, but only lost more; This is disgusting. To them it is just 2000 euro: to us it is a lot"

"Beware for scams! There's too many stories going around about fraudulent or misinformed deals, and once they fall through, Remax wrongfully refuses to pay back the reservation fee. Especially if your Spanish is not perfect, they are happy to make a quick buck off you. Not saying this is always the case, but I've seen the stunts they pull and it's not clean. Do not recommend."
